11th Charter Anniversary Celebration

Today, we proudly celebrated the 11th Anniversary of our Charter Day! Honoured to have our Assistant Governor 2025–26, Rtn. Sudakaran, grace our 11th Charter Day Anniversary with his special presence and inspiring speech!

At the Rotary Club of Chunnakam Heritage (Rotary District 3220, Sri Lanka & Maldives), every year of humanitarian service represents countless lives touched, sustainable community assets created, and enduring bonds of fellowship forged across our region. Celebrating our origins allows us to reflect on our journey, honor our shared achievements, and renew our lifelong commitment to Service Above Self.
Today, we take immense pride and joy in celebrating the 11th Anniversary of our Charter Day, marking over a decade of dedicated grassroots service, leadership, and impactful community development throughout northern Sri Lanka.

Celebrating Eleven Years of Impact and Fellowship

Since receiving our official charter, the Rotary Club of Chunnakam Heritage has grown into a vibrant, action-driven pillar of service in our community. Over the past eleven years, our journey has been defined by meaningful action and collaborative impact:
  • Grassroots Community Empowerment: Championing sustainable livelihood initiatives—such as livestock and poultry distribution—to lift families below the poverty line into economic self-reliance.
  • Supporting Education and Youth: Fostering academic growth through bicycle donations, school bag distributions, preschool infrastructure upgrades, and youth leadership events in partnership with the Rotaract movement.
  • Health and Community Infrastructure: Installing clean drinking water filtration systems, supporting correctional facility libraries, and executing vital district-supported community projects.
  • Global and Local Fellowship: Building enduring cross-border and inter-district partnerships to fund, design, and execute high-standard humanitarian interventions.
Our 11th Charter Day celebration was filled with warmth, nostalgia, and immense gratitude as charter members, past leaders, and current Rotarians gathered to commemorate eleven years of unity and dedicated service.
