We Are Proud to Have Achieved 8 Awards at the District Awards Ceremony!
At the Rotary Club of Chunnakam Heritage (Rotary District 3220, Sri Lanka & Maldives), our commitment to humanitarian excellence, grassroots impact, and dedicated community transformation drives everything we do. We are overjoyed and deeply humbled to announce that our club has won 8 prestigious awards at the District Awards Ceremony, marking an unforgettable milestone in our service journey.
This recognition stands as a powerful testament to a year defined by purposeful action—from advancing basic education and child literacy to providing vision care, maternal health support, flood relief, and community welfare across the Northern Province.
A Collective Triumph of Service, Passion, and Community Trust
This remarkable achievement is not ours alone; it belongs to every single individual, partner, and leader who supported, encouraged, and believed in our vision throughout this journey. Reaching these heights was made possible by an extraordinary network of collaboration, guidance, and tireless dedication:
-
District 3220 Leadership: We extend our deepest, most respectful gratitude to the District Governor, the District Secretary, the District Governor-Elect, and our venerable Past District Governors for their visionary governance, constant mentorship, and steadfast encouragement.
-
International Mentorship & Fellowship: Sincere gratitude to DGN Haran Ramachandran (Australia) for his inspiring guidance, proactive counsel, and enduring solidarity with our initiatives.
-
Our Beloved Club Members: The true backbone of our club—our dedicated members whose selfless commitment, resource mobilization, and tireless on-ground efforts brought every community project to life.
-
Rotary Family Across Sri Lanka & India: Warm thanks to our fellow Rotary Clubs across Sri Lanka, our partner Rotary Clubs in India, and our wider International Rotary Family (including RID 3300) for proving that cross-border fellowship multiplies humanitarian impact.
-
Sustainable Lanka Team: Sincere appreciation to the dedicated Sustainable Lanka Team for their strategic synergy in delivering impactful educational and livelihood interventions.
-
Rotaractors & Interactors: To all our vibrant Rotaract and Interact club members—your boundless energy, fresh ideas, and dedicated volunteerism inspire us daily.
-
Our Esteemed Media Partners: Heartfelt thanks to DAN TV (Sajith), Thinakural (Suveshan), Murasu Newspaper, Valampuri Newspaper, Kaalai Kathir, and Thinakaran for faithfully spotlighting our humanitarian stories and amplifying public awareness.
-
Volunteers & Community Advocates: To all the unsung volunteers—the silent heroes working behind the scenes at every medical camp, distribution, and community project.
Inspiring Greater Milestones Ahead
