At the Rotary Club of Chunnakam Heritage (Rotary District 3220, Sri Lanka & Maldives), promoting basic education, literacy, and child development are core commitments of our service journey. Access to quality school materials and well-resourced learning environments plays a decisive role in keeping children motivated, confident, and eager to learn every day.
In an inspiring display of international fellowship and grassroots collaboration, visiting Rotarians from Rotary International District 3300 (Malaysia) joined hands with the Rotary Club of Jaffna Peninsula and the Rotary Club of Chunnakam Heritage to conduct a meaningful educational outreach program at Madduvil GTMS.
During this joint initiative, 30 durable school bags were handed over directly to students, and the visiting Malaysian Rotarians generously made a special financial contribution of LKR 70,000.00 to Madduvil GTMS to support school development and learning needs.
