Wheelchair Support for an Elderly Woman

Today, we provided a wheelchair to an elderly woman in Nellijady, with the generous sponsorship of Ninthujan.

At the Rotary Club of Chunnakam Heritage (Rotary District 3220, Sri Lanka & Maldives), restoring dignity, independence, and comfort to the vulnerable elders of our society is central to our humanitarian mission. Today, we take immense pride and joy in announcing the successful handover of a brand-new, purpose-built wheelchair to an elderly woman in Nellijady, whose daily life has been significantly constrained by severe mobility challenges.
